Graining Fork Nature Preserve (Roadside)

More commonly known as “Roadside Crag,” Graining Fork Nature Preserve is an oldie but a goodie, boasting many of the Red’s all-time sport and trad classics.

Directions & Parking

Roadside is located off Highway 11, directly across from Hop’s. Parking is shared with the restaurant and is currently free and accessible for all vehicle types.

Waivers & Access Considerations

This is private property and can ONLY be accessed with a permit by emailing GFNPreserve@gmail.com. Permits are reviewed on Mondays and require a minimum of a week’s advance notice. Permits must be applied for as a group, not as individuals, among numerous other rules. Read and abide by all rules found at grainingfork.org. Dogs, hammocks, alcohol, guiding, and more are not permitted. Please respect the owners and keep this classic crag open — access to this beautiful cliff is a privilege.
